Ferrari beat Mesenbrink at Super 32, and fans want 174 in 2027
GlobalWrestOrder resurfaced Angelo Ferrari's 3-2 win over Mitchell Mesenbrink in the consolation rounds of the 2021 Super 32, decided by a third-period takedown. FloWrestling raised the obvious follow-up: Ferrari has not given up a takedown in his first two college seasons, so would the two-time NCAA champion get to his legs? The hypothetical is a 2027 meeting at 174.
And of course - things got heated at the end!
Why it matters: A Ferrari vs Mesenbrink 174 bout in 2027 would headline the weight and the Hodge race.
- Our take: watch whether Ferrari settles at 174 in 2027
