Keegan Bassett, Picket and both Silva brothers out of Super 32
MatScouts also has Kooper Deputy back in the field and Joey Bachmann bumping from 175 to 190.
Keegan Bassett, Brooklyn Picket and California brothers Thales and Thiago Silva are all out of Super 32 with injuries, per MatScoutWillie of MatScouts. Kooper Deputy is back in the field and plans to go 113 as of now, though MatScouts flagged 113 versus 120 as still an open question. Joey Bachmann has moved up from 175 to 190.
That is four scratches in one post, and no detail was given on any of the injuries or how long anyone is expected to be out. MatScouts did not say which weights Bassett, Picket or either Silva were entered at.
What is actually confirmed
The entire report comes from one account, posted as a set of entry notes rather than a release from the event. Nobody has said why the four are hurt, and there has been no word from the wrestlers or their programs on the record. Treat it as entry list movement from a reporter who tracks these brackets closely, not as a full injury report.
The Deputy line is the one with a decision still pending. He is in, 113 is the plan, and the 113 or 120 call is the part MatScouts left open. Bachmann's jump from 175 to 190 is a two class move and it changes which bracket he lands in.
Our take, the Silva pair going out together is the detail that stings most for the event, because it is two entries from one California family off the board at once.
Watch for
Updated Super 32 brackets to confirm where Deputy and Bachmann actually land once weigh ins are set.
Any follow up from MatScouts or the wrestlers on the timelines for Bassett, Picket and the Silvas, since none of that is public yet.
Kooper Deputy is back in though 113/120 is the question. Plans 113 as of now.
