Nomad posts Spencer Lee's year-over-year numbers, 14-2 since 2025
Two stretches, two sample sizes, and a scoring rate that has climbed while the points allowed have too.
The Wrestling Nomad put Spencer Lee's last two competition stretches side by side in a year-over-year post. Since the 2025 World Championships, Lee is 14-2 across 16 matches with 144 points scored and 34 allowed. Since the 2024 Olympics, he went 10-1 across 11 matches with 88 points scored and 10 allowed.
What the split actually says
Run the division and the two lines pull in opposite directions. The 2025-to-now stretch is nine points scored per match against a shade over two allowed. The post-Olympic stretch is eight scored per match against under one allowed. More offense, more given back, and five more matches in the sample.
The win rates are close enough to be noise. Two losses in 16 is an .875 clip, one loss in 11 is .909, and the raw difference is a single result.
Why the raw counts are hard to read
The post is the numbers and nothing else. Nomad did not attach opponents, events or weight to either stretch in that tweet, so the 144 points and the 34 allowed sit there without the schedule behind them.
Our take: that is the whole argument in miniature. A points-per-match figure moves fast when a couple of matches end in a quick pin or an early default, and it moves just as fast when a bracket is short on world-level bodies. Sixteen matches is a small sample by any standard, and two of them going sideways in either direction flips the scoring profile before anybody wrestles a real one.
What is not in dispute is the volume. Lee has wrestled more in the past year than he did in the year that followed Paris, and he has been winning at roughly the same rate while scoring at a higher one.

Whether Nomad follows the raw counts with the opponent-by-opponent breakdown, which is the only thing that settles what the 144 points are worth.
