Marcarlo Mannello beat No. 8 Amir Newman-Winfrey by disqualification at the Elite 8 Duals after Newman-Winfrey bit him, according to New York Wrestling News. Mannello was ahead 10-6 when it happened. The same post says Newman-Winfrey had already headbutted Mannello earlier in the match.
Mannello was leading 10-6 before Newman-Winfrey bit Mannello (full top and bottom) resulting in a DQ win. This was after Newman-Winfrey had already headbutt Mannello as well.
New York Wrestling News described the bite as "full top and bottom" and signed the post off with "Onto the next one." The Wrestling Nomad quote tweeted the report with "@NYwrestlingnews tops and bottoms!"
No explanation for the bite has been reported, and neither wrestler nor either program has said anything publicly in the sources available.
