Oliver vs Lovett is now for the RAF Lightweight title
The matchup was already on the card, the belt is the new piece.
Jordan Oliver vs Ridge Lovett is now a title fight. Real American Freestyle announced the pairing will be contested for the RAF Lightweight Championship at RAF 14 on October 23 at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The bout itself was earlier booked for the card, so the belt is the new part.
RAF posted the upgrade with a two word framing that does the job.

The card streams on Fox Nation, and RAF is pointing ticket buyers to the link in its bio.
What RAF has said
The promotion has not put out anything beyond the championship designation, so there is no stated reason for the change and no word on whether the title was vacant or held. Nobody has said why the match was elevated.
RAF 14 keeps stacking. The same October 23 show in Las Vegas already has Lucia Yepez defending against Sarah Hildebrandt, Mekhi Lewis against Gadzhimagomedov and a Khamzat Chimaev vs Robbie Lawler co-main, plus Arman Tsarukyan vs Dillon Danis.
Why it matters
RAF has been handing out belts sparingly, and the lightweight strap gives the promotion a second division with a champion to build around after Jason Nolf held the middleweight title at RAF 13. Oliver and Lovett were a good match on the merits before the announcement. Now the winner walks out of Vegas with something to defend, and the loser is chasing it.
