Final X match one streams with no commentary after audio failure
Jon Kozak and Christian Pyles were prepped and ready, but production could not get them on the call.
FloWrestling streamed match one of Final X with no commentary. Jon Kozak said he and Christian Pyles were ready to go but production hit audio problems, so the decision was made to run the broadcast silent. The first viewers to notice assumed the problem was on their end.
Justin Basch posted the reaction that a lot of people were having in real time.
"There's no way there is no commentary right now? This has to be my computer?"

Kozak confirmed shortly after that it was not anybody's computer. He said the technical difficulties with the audio would have negatively affected the stream, and that the call was made at the last second to go without.

Pyles said the same thing from his seat, that he and Kozak were suited up and prepped to commentate the entire event and a technical issue prevented it.
Sganga rips the timing
The explanation did not land for everyone, because of which match got the silent treatment. @coachsganga went after Flo for the women's match being the one that ran without a call, saying it was in very poor taste and that Pyles could have studied up and gotten on the call even if he normally handles the men's side.

@gogreenwrestle added the line that tends to follow any Flo production stumble, that Track wrestling Classic would have had commentary.
Nobody from Flo's production side has publicly explained what the audio issue actually was beyond what Kozak described. Kozak said the hope was to have it sorted before match two.
What to watch
Whether the audio held up for the rest of the best-of-three, and whether Flo says anything further about how a Final X women's match ended up as the one that went out without a broadcast team.
