Sujeet beat Abdulmazhid Kudiev of Tajikistan 10-9 in the Asian Games freestyle 65kg final, United World Wrestling posted. UWW says he trailed 9-2 before the comeback, and that it is India's first wrestling gold at the Games since 2018. Nachyn Kuular of Kazakhstan and Kotaro Kiyooka of Japan took the bronzes, Kiyooka beating Iran's Abbas Ebrahimzadeh 3-2.

Iran's Mohammad Nokhodi won Asian Games freestyle gold at 86kg, beating Japan's Hayato Ishiguro 9-6, per United World Wrestling. Real American Freestyle booked Kyle Snyder to defend the RAF Light Heavyweight Championship against Shamil Erdogan on November 14 at Etihad Arena.
