Marsteller named USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week for RAF debut
USA Wrestling gave Athlete of the Week to Chance Marsteller for his RAF debut. The federation cited his 8-6 win over 2025 World champion and 2024 Olympian Georgios Kougioumtsidis.
Why it matters: Marsteller gets federation recognition for the biggest senior-level freestyle win of his career.

Mekhi Lewis has signed with Real American Freestyle and will face Akhmed Gadzhimagomedov at RAF 14 on October 23 in Las Vegas, per Justin Basch. RAF billed it as NCAA champ vs World medalist. The match is on the Fox Nation broadcast.
Why it matters: Another NCAA champion moving to RAF, against a World medalist, on the promotion's biggest card yet.
